I loved this book and the inspiration that it oozes. I would recommend this to any woman needing a push in the self empowerment direction!
Great read! The checklists at the end of each chapter demands accountability! Dr. C. Nicole Mason's writing style is personal with a mix personal stories and humor.

It may sound a bit selfish but it's really important to do. I heard Nicole speak at Essence and it helped to hear her explain why we need to be a bit selfish and put ourselves first.
I had been debating on whether to buy this ebook or not. I am pleased to say that I am happy I did! I love reading self-help books but this one is tailored more for me and where I am in my life. In addition to giving advice, the author gives us ideas on what we can do right now in order to improve our lives. Despite the formatting issues and minor errors, I highly recommend this book.
This book is awesome. The author wrote this book as if she was writing directly to me. Everything I was thinking and to afraid to do or say the author wrote in this book. She mentioned plenty of times that there was nothing wrong with putting yourself first before anyone else. That is really and truly a good thing because no one is going to take care of you than you. I loved this book and referred it to many of my friends who are in the same boat I'm in or I should say, was in. Reading this book made me really think about what I wanted out of life; my purpose for being here; how to get it; and make it happen. GET THIS BOOK!!!
